1) P.D.: Where did 101 Foul Nations started up at and how did the group come up with the name?

Sheriff Vanguard: The original crew is called C.I.2. Mad Thinkers. The founding members went to William E. Grady H.S., the original members are Tech Squire, Pro T.I. and me (Sheriff). We were different individuals coming up with different types of answers for different things. We was thinking about things that nobody was thinking about. We came up with the name "Mad Thinkers" because were next level thinkers with our rhyming skills.

2) P.D.: What do Sheriff Vanguard mean?

Sheriff Vanguard: In society, Sheriff means a symbol of excellence. Van means protector overseerer of the people. Vanguard means real hip-hop and informing information through rhyming skills to the people

3) P.D.: What do you think of Hip-Hop right now?

Sheriff Vanguard: Hip-Hop right now is trash, the production of the music has no soul. It has no vibe, it's just noise. There's artists spitting nice lyrics, but it has no direction.

4) P.D.: Whose your top 6 favorite artists?

Sheriff Vanguard: KRS-One, LL Cool J, Tupac, B.I.G.,
Jay-Z and Nas.

5) P.D.: Your next album you working on is called Blaine Bond, can you tell our readers what they can expect before they get the album?

Sheriff Vanguard: "Blaine Bond" is the ultimate smash album.

6) P.D.: Do you love what you do? How do you think your fans will respond when they purchase the "Blaine Bond" album?

Sheriff Vanguard: Yeah, I love what I do. When the fans pickup the album, they will say this album is the art of creativity.

7) P.D.: From my understanding, we at P.D. heard your past songs as well as other fans, and we can agree on that your voice sound like LL Cool J. What's the difference between your style Sheriff Vanguard's and LL Cool J's?

Sheriff Vanguard: Sheriff Vanguard's style is for the people.

8) P.D.: What standards do you live by?

Sheriff Vanguard: Creativity.

9) P.D.: Do you consider yourself a remodel?

Sheriff Vanguard: No.

10) P.D.: If you don't consider yourself a remodel, then what do you consider yourself?

Sheriff Vanguard: A person that makes good music.

True Hip-Hop at It's Rawest Form
Nov 18 | Posted by P.D. Staff Members

We at P.D. been hearing a lot within this year 2011 that Hip-Hop as a whole is losing it's touch. The quality is turning into quantity. In other words "it's all about the benjamins." The problem with it being all about the Benjamins, is that when a person looks at an artist roots things don't add up. The new generation fans don't do research, but the past ones that knows the birth with Hip-Hop knows well. If that is going to stay the case for now on, anybody could rhyme and make a song. All that individual needs now adays is a good ghost writer, some acting classes and a fashion stylist to keep that person up to date with style and the new swagger.

Is Hip-Hop fading? (A question to all 90s and 80s artists)

Most fans demand more hardcore rap, storytelling lyrics, a great singing voice and the ability to do freestyle battles without violence. There is a high demand of what music lovers crave. There are many "Underground Ruckus Bringers" ready to bring the noise. The only thing they need is the opportunity. Hip-Hop artist DMX has been rapping for 13 years before he got signed to Def Jam Records. He was rhyming in the studio and the producers could hear a rattling in his delivery, it was due to some metal that he had in his mouth. They could hear the hunger and determination in his freestyle. He could hold his own, they loved it and he was the one they wanted.

There are so many artists that have paved the way for the industry today. In 2011, we have been hearing that hip-hop is fading. We at P.D. refuse to believe it and let it happen. We are allowing fans to hear the best underground artists within hip-hop and in other genres of music. We choose artists that have talent and the ability to rip the mic, when on the mic. We strive to give the music audience what they crave.

Hip-Hop is very much alive. The fans want to hear artists that have the full package. There are many underground hip-hop artists that are looking for their chance at stardom. The microphone is hot and it's always ready for a great new comer to spit fire on it.

Just in case the new generation artists and fans don't know what's real hip-hop sounds like. Below is Hip Hop at it's rawest form. 5 male songs and 5 female songs that best explain the direction of
Hip-Hop and all it's forms. According to Sheriff Vanguard, ghetto style, you have to live it to understand it.

And for underground artists that want to be on this website and can't make the cut, this website is about PURE talent and skills and your money is cool, but that's not what we're about. We are about quality, so pay some other company for the exposure.
This is REAL HIP-HOP OVER HERE!
